Your subscription includes usage. We deduct successful API actions from that balance throughout the month. You can stop requests at your limit, set a higher hard cap or enable automatic overages. The subscription also funds rate limits, support, projects and logging. Included usage is not refundable account cash.

Each discount applies only to usage within that band. A higher usage level never makes your total bill unexpectedly jump. We use the better of your plan overage rate or the automatic volume rate, never both stacked.
