1.1 This Acceptable Use Policy (Policy) sets out the rules that apply when you use InBetween's website at https://www.inbe.us (Website), our APIs, widgets, documentation, and related services (together, the Services).

1.2 This Policy forms part of our Website Terms of Use and, where you purchase or use paid Services, our Terms of Sale. Capitalised terms not defined here have the meanings given in those documents.

1.3 We may update this Policy from time to time. The version published on this page is the current version. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.

2.1 We are INBE LTD, registered in England and Wales with company number 16435528, with our registered address at Garden Flat, London, W14 9BB (we, us or our).

3. INTENDED USE

3.1 The Services are designed to help products make preference-aware venue decisions for end users — for example matching restaurants, bars, and cafés to people and plans inside an application.

3.2 You may use the Services only for lawful purposes, in accordance with this Policy, and only in ways that do not impair the integrity, performance, or availability of the Services for others.

4. PROHIBITED USES

4.1 You must not:

  • 4.1.1 use the Services for bulk place-data extraction, scraping, crawling, harvesting, or any similar activity intended to copy, rebuild, or redistribute our venue database or substantial parts of it;
  • 4.1.2 resell, sublicense, publish, or otherwise redistribute raw API responses, datasets, or derived dumps except as expressly permitted in your agreement with us (including any display, caching, and storage rights set out in our terms);
  • 4.1.3 exceed rate limits, circumvent authentication, share API keys publicly, or access the Services by any means other than the interfaces and credentials we provide;
  • 4.1.4 misuse or attack the Website or Services by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs, or any other material which is malicious or technologically harmful (including denial-of-service attacks);
  • 4.1.5 attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website or Services, the server on which they are stored, or any server, computer, or database connected to them;
  • 4.1.6 remove, delete, obscure, disable, modify, add to, tamper with, or circumvent any program code or data, copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices, labels, or copy protection contained on or in the Services;
  • 4.1.7 use the Services in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, or that facilitates illegal activity, including violating applicable privacy, consumer, or competition laws;
  • 4.1.8 use the Services to send unsolicited commercial communications (spam), or to collect personal data about individuals without a lawful basis and appropriate notices;
  • 4.1.9 reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code or underlying models from the Services except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

5. WEBSITE CONTENT

5.1 When posting or submitting content to the Website (including forms, feedback, or community features if offered), you must not submit material that is defamatory, obscene, offensive, hateful, discriminatory, or that infringes any third-party rights.

5.2 You are responsible for the accuracy of information you submit to us and for ensuring you have the right to share it.

6. ENFORCEMENT

6.1 We may investigate suspected violations of this Policy. We may suspend or terminate access to the Services, revoke API keys, or take other action we reasonably consider necessary if you breach this Policy or any applicable law.

6.2 We may report illegal activity to law enforcement or regulators and cooperate with investigations where required or appropriate.
